Bible Bowl

2008-2009 Season

First Christian Church - Kissimmee has a great tradition in national Bible Bowl.  Over the past 11 years we have had a team in the top 16 nationally every year.  Last year our team finished second in the nation for the second time in the last two years and the fourth time in the last ten years.  Congratulations to last year team for their excellent finish - Katy Garcia, Laura Roberts, Siomara Bermudez, Juan Bermudez, and Emily Roberts.

This year our young people will study the Old Testament (Six Great Prophets - Elisha, Isaiah, Daniel, Jonah, Jeremiah, Elijah).  They will compete locally in the Greater Orlando Round Robin; regionally at several college tournaments as well as a couple of invitationals, and nationally (Atlanta, Ga).  

Four students from our second place  team will return and will be joined by a host of new students this year.  Locally we will field five teams and probably have two travelling teams for tournaments (depends on funding and student commitment).
