Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer for Childrens' Ministries

You have valuable God-given gifts and talents and our children's ministry would like to help you find an area to use them to God's glory.

If you like to cuddle babies, sing songs, play peek-a-boo and give bottles, then the infant nursery is the place for you. You must be 18 or older to volunteer in this area.

If you like to get on the floor and play with toddlers, watch Veggie Tales, do puzzles, play with block, and read books out loud, then the toddler nursery is the place for you.

If you enjoy 2's-5's, telling stories, reading books, playing with playdough, drawing pictures, singing songs, and teaching short Bible lessons, then the Preschool area is the place you need to check out.

If you enjoy following a curriculum that lays out lessons, crafts, and life application activities, then our Elementary Sunday school area is where you want to be.

If you like to lead worship, work with large groups of elementary school age kids, sing, do fun activities, and model Christian acts of worship, then Children's Church is the place for you.

First Christian Church loves and desires to provide a safe church environment for all of our kids in all activities. Therefore, before anyone is allowed to volunteer in this ministry they must meet with our Children's Minister and pass a back ground check. Please call the church to set up an appointment today.
