Teen Ministries

Proverbs 22:6 says, "Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it." First Christian Church is committed to teaching and training students tochoose the right path, that is, to be the men and women God has called them to be. Through Bible studies, Retreats, Wednesday Night Youth Groups, Service Projects and more, we strive to raise up Godly students who will impact this world for Christ.

The Upper Room The Upper Room is the name of our Wednesday night High School program. This is a great time of being with friends, awesome praise and worship, applicable lessons from the Bible and fun. We meet upstairs in rooms 206 & 208 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. This is a great time for students to bring their friends and help get them connected with Christ and other Christians. Sunday School On Sunday mornings at 9:50 a.m., our High School students have the opportunity to study God's Word and grow deeper in thier knowledge of who Jesus is, why the Bible matters, and how to apply the Scriptures to our lives. Our Sunday School classes are taught by people passionate for God and about sharing His Word.

Small Group Bible Studies

Each week we have Small Group Bible studies for girls and guys to be a part of. These groups meet throughout the week and consist of studying God's Word, building deeper relationships with each other and growing to become the people God desires. We have separate groups for guys and girls. This helps us focus on the different issues specific to gender. To learn more about Small Groups call the church office.

Activities

From conferences in Tennessee, to White Water Rafting, to Extreme bowling, there is an activity for every interest. We plan monthly activities for our High School students and information is available at the youth display in the church foyer.
