Youth Weekend

THE STUDENTS ARE TAKING OVER! On August 7-8 Rock Student ministries will be taking over the weekend services to give the church a little taste of what sutdent ministries are like here at First Christian Church. The students will serve in every aspect of the weekend, from greeting to leading worship.  Along with the service there will be a lunch for all parents of students following the 11:00 am service.  During lunch we hope to communicate about the upcoming year.  Sign up at Home Base if you plan to attend the lunch.  There will also be ROCK for the students Sunday night from 5-8 pm.  For more information, contact Chris Wells.

Middle School Mania

Attention Middle School Students!!! Next month is Middle School Mania at Florida Christian College. Join us on August 13-14 for two days of worship, and fun at Wet n’ Wild! Friday night and Saturday morning we will worship at Florida Christian College along with other Middle School Students from around the state. Then Saturday we will spend the day at Wet n’ Wild Water Park. The cost is $40, plus bring money for food at Wet n Wild, (or bring a lunch). Annual Ladies Salad Supper

Attention all ladies! You're invited to our Annual Ladies Salad Supper, a "FLIP-FLOP KICK-OFF!". The event will be Thursday, Aug. 19 at 6:30pm. Join us for fun, fellowship, learn about the various women's groups and get a sneak peek at the upcoming retreat! Wear your prettiest flip-flops and bring a salad to share. Promise Keepers

Promise Keepers will be hosted by First Baptist Church of Orlando. This great event for men is focused on igniting transformation. Registration is free. But there is a $10 charge for lunch. Alexander Christian Found. Golf Marathon

The Alexander Christian Foundation is having a 100 hole golf marathon on Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Oakwood Golf Course in Lake Wales, FL. All proceeds will go toward scholarships for Bible college students. The event includes breakfast, golf, golf cart, lunches, supper, snacks, prizes and more.
